Twice but Nice is completely dependent on the kindness of the general public. It is only with the public’s kind donations of their unwanted goods that the store can exist. We are grateful for all donations although we do ask that any donations made be to an appropriate condition so that it can still be of value to the customers. You can drop any unwanted items into the shop directly where our staff and volunteers can be of help.
The only products that Twice but Nice do not sell or accept is electrical equipment.
We sell and accept:
We have very helpful operatives in our shop who are always willing to help with your shopping experience.
The shop has a nice blend of both Churches Trust staff members and also some of our wonderful volunteers who dedicate a few hours of their time each week. So please pop in if you are passing, we would be delighted to see you.
The Pantry Project is a non-profit, charitable food bank organisation that distributes food to those who have difficulty purchasing enough to avoid hunger.
It was set up as a crisis response to meet the needs of people (individuals and families) who for one reason or another find themselves in a situation of extreme hardship.
The Churches Trust collects donations and works with community hubs in the distribution of food, at all times preserving the dignity of recipients and treating them with the respect they deserve. People from all walks of life have accessed our project.
Donations for the Pantry Project are raised by appealing to churches and schools. Many organisations fund raise in aid of the Pantry Project and generous individuals donate food and money for which we are thankful.
